Cadbury Website

Landing Page Redesign

Overview

This project involved a complete redesign of the landing page for Cadbury's website. The challenge was part of a job assignment where I was tasked with reimagining the UI within a tight one-week deadline. The goal was to enhance the user experience by creating a more engaging and intuitive interface while maintaining the brand’s iconic visual identity.

The project required a deep understanding of Cadbury's target audience, quick decision-making, and efficient design execution to deliver a polished final product within the time constraints.

Process

Given the limited time frame, the process was concise but focused. I began with a brief analysis and quick research of the existing website, assessing its responsiveness and identifying key areas for improvement. Following this, I developed a moodboard and style board to establish the visual direction and guide the redesign. These foundational steps helped ensure a cohesive and purposeful design approach moving forward.

Moodboard

The goal was to create a cleaner, more modern design while preserving the essence of the brand’s identity.

UI Kit

Before beginning the layout, I established a design system to achieve the desired aesthetic. This stage involved defining the color palette, typography, and key UI elements such as buttons, ensuring consistency and cohesion throughout the design.

Responsive Design

A key part of the challenge was ensuring that the design worked seamlessly across both small and large displays, maintaining responsiveness and visual consistency on all screen sizes.

Conclusion & Insights

This was a task for a job interview process. Even though I didn't land the job, I really liked the challenged of designing a website's landing page in under a week (with other things going on). Since I didn't really have time to conduct user research, I consider it more a UI design project, but I did apply UX design concepts based on experience and user assumptions.
